Noir and Coco® was born from a love of many things...

The love and gratitude I have for my God-given creativity. The love I have for my people, and the beauty found in the many shades of melanin that make up the diaspora; our rich culture and creativity have been the backbone and inspiration that have shaped generations across the globe.

The love I have for a scent’s ability to shift our mood. From the nostalgia for Grandma’s hug, to the calming scent of a newborn baby’s head, or the parfum we wear when we wish to command a room. The power of what a scent can do is unmatched!

Noir, the French word for black, used to define my people. Coco, short for cocoa, represents the various shades of the cocoa bean, similar to our diverse shades of melanin.

Our creativity is limitless.

Our vibe is unmistakable.

Our pride is unshakable.

And like a candle, our light shines brightly!
